Holiday Card Extravaganza & Open House
Sunday, December 14th, 2-5pm
Let’s gather and hang out whilst we make cards, and merry, and merry cards.
Remember the wonderful and old-timey tradition of handmade cards? Let's get together and make some. We have rubber stamps, paper punches, card stock, paints, markers, sequins, glitter, eyelets and more. I even have some templates to make your own envelopes if you are so inclined :)
Includes materials & tools, crafty companionship, cheesy holiday music, good tidings and great cheer, light refreshments and nibbles.
what I have for blank cards will be a mish-mosh variety of papers and card stock, there will be plenty so you don't need matchy-matchy you are all set. If you wish to have a set of matching cards and envelopes you should bring your own blanks (I like the ones from Blick or Papersource, you could also try your local thrift store or buy nothing groups, or this used art supply store is amazing: Remainders).
This event is full-spectrum crafting: even if you don't consider yourself crafty/artsy this is entry-level. Also if you are a craft master, you will be able to shine. So you really have no excuse not to come :)
This open house is for adults and 14+ kiddos so we can focus on the task at hand, and also, we have so many other opportunities for thekiddos at artScamp, wanted to keep this for the grownups. A child that is coming to this event should be able to work in community with adults, there will be no special kid tools or area and, while I am always available for assistance and demonstrations, this event is mainly self-directed, so kids should have a plan or work with their adult. This is not a drop off event, under 18 should have an accompanying adult.

artScamp is one one level with no steps, but there is slightly uneven ground and flagstone path to get to space. Please contact me with any ambulatory or other needs you may have so we can do our best to accommodate!
